HeliBox POS Interface for Verkada Camera Systems

Verkada is a camera system that eliminates the need for a video surveillance recorder or video server, as recording takes place directly on the camera itself. Access is via Verkada's cloud system using the camera's serial number and a Verkada user account.

To connect Verkada to cash registers and POS systems, Alpha11 has developed a system (HeliBox) for Verkada cameras that is universally compatible with all POS manufacturers. This requires a receipt copy to be printed on an additional printer, which is set up at the POS by a POS technician, and a short receipt form (without logos/TSE).

The system is used for POS documentation, as all transactions at the cash register are linked to the Verkada camera system. For critical transactions (cancellations, discounts, returns, deposits, etc.), a Heli-Event is flagged in Verkada, allowing users to quickly access and review these critical transactions within Verkada. This feature saves hours of searching through the video system, as you only need to look at the critical points that have been identified as such. It also helps to uncover discrepancies at the cash register more quickly.
